LLJBC U18 finish their summer league with a second win in a row defeating Chilwell Comets 37-28. The game got off to a good start with Wyatt dropping the first 5 points before a steady trade saw the team take a 6 point lead at the end of the first. The trading continued through the next quarter to give LL a 5 point lead at the half. The team were without their usual play-maker so adapted tactics to shut out the 2 main threats, work the ball in established offence and control the boards. The slower, controlled offence proved successful in the third as their points kept ticking over while holding the Comets to just 2. The game was closed out 37-28 through MVP, F Wyatt’s haul of 14 points and a superb 10 from the bench by G Greinis.
