The U18s played against Hucknall Basketball Club in their latest Summer League event bringing in an impressive win. An almost full strength squad showed what they are capable of with incredible hustle defence from Carter and Wyatt, and boards by Ratnadge and Davids shutting out the opponents, all supported by intelligent ball movement off the break. The team kept Hucknall to just 1 point in the first half putting away 27 themselves. The team tired a little in the second half allowing Hucknall more space on and off the ball but maintained their score-rate coming in 58-17 at the final whistle. High scorers were J Carter (23) from range and on the drive, and M Ratnadge (18) working the boards with Davids getting a number of blocks and Wyatt putting his body on the line defensively. Chilwell in 2 weeks where we will be looking to strike again.
