An understrength U18 team played the local ‘Tropics’ team from LincolnBasketball in a friendly. Despite only having 7 players and losing another at half time, the team led the game from the start. Foul trouble and injuries meant the team finished with just 4 players on the court which allowed the Tropics to draw level and eventually win the game with just 15 seconds left.
A brave display by a team that played some of their best basketball of the season and didn’t give up right to the end, a team full of notable performances with F Moss and M Kludzinski especially standing out.
