Congratulations to the LLJBC U18 team that played their first ever match against Grimsby Phoenix U18 on 2 Oct.
A full team of 12 players traveled and left with a relatively comfortable 54-34 win. With every player contributing and getting a good share of court time it showed the depth of talent in the squad. The team showed their ability to export the fast break and find gaps in an established defence, even against a bigger team.
MVP went to Lewis Hyde for his outstanding contribution, the energy and awareness he demonstrated throughout the game supported by a high personal score.
