Lincoln 3×3 Tournament

Four players from the LLJBC U18 squad played in the LincolnBasketball 3×3 tournament on 2 Apr. The open event saw 10 teams from around the district putting their 3-man skills against each other in a highly competitive event. A number of local teams were represented with one other junior team from Nottingham also stepping up to the plate.

The LLJBC team which consisted of three 16year olds, played some excellent basketball and despite only winning one of their matches, showed just how far they have come in this last year. Their display of fast feet, direct drives and 3pt swishes was amazing to watch as they competed against very experienced players from the UK and overseas. Although they were never going to take the silverware, they competed in every game, grew in confidence throughout the tournament and will be better players for it – amazing to watch…well played.
